Michelle Smith McDonald, APR is an experienced education communications leader who has worked in both the K-12 and higher education settings, assisting senior leadership on executive communications, crisis communication and challenges and problem-solving around reputation and issues management. She spent 30 years as a sportswriter for publications such as the San Francisco Chronicle and ESPN.com and has had leadership positions in both the Association for Women in Sports Media and the California School Public Relations Association.
