CAPIO Membership pays off in unexpected ways. Kelly Hoover, City of Goleta PIO, posted a question on the CAPIO Discussion Board and has this to say about the experience –

“I am a firm believer in finding people who are in the same boat as you are, doing the same or a similar job, for support and guidance. It is beyond helpful to be able to turn to my CAPIO partners to ask a question that I know we all are dealing with and to have this team of professionals accessible to run ideas past.  In my short time as a City PIO, I have already used this valuable tool a number of times and have already formed some great mentors to help guide me on my path.”
