Congratulations to Kevin Strauss who recently was hired as the Communications Manager for the Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency, filling Kathie Martin’s role upon retirement.  He will oversee a team of twelve in public outreach and education.  View Press Release.

Congratulations to David Vossbrink, APR, for being accepted into the PRSA College of Fellows.  The PRSA College of Fellows is the gold standard for public relations professionals. It is not just a distinction, but this is an active group of experienced professionals who enrich the profession by continuing to leave a significant footprint on the public relations body of knowledge. 

Congratulations to Mary-Joy Coburn for her move to the Orange County Employees Retirement System.  She was hired as their Director of Communications.  She was most recently Director of Communications for the Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District.  Mary-Joy plans to reconvene a local PIO group in Orange County upon her return to the area.

Congratulations to former CAPIO Board member Leslie Arroyo who recently was hired as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Saratoga.

Congratulations to Brie Anne Coleman who was recently promoted to Communications Manager at Placer County Water Agency.  Brie Anne also serves on the CAPIO Board as VP of Communications.
